Class Act 2012

Our annual teacher training program for primary school teachers has become very popular, despite it being scheduled at the start of the long awaited summer holidays. Class Act was conducted from 17th to 20th April 2012. Over 50 teachers from all over Goa participated with great enthusiasm. The topics addressed were how children learn to read English, learning difficulties, methods to promote reading, Maths and English competencies and discipline in the classroom. The program was an interactive process, including group discussions, lectures and hands on exercises. Most of the teachers who attended the workshop opined that Class Act gave them new information and practical strategies needed to deal with behavior and learning difficulties in the classroom.
