The Sethu Centre for Child Development and Family Guidance

Welcome to the Sethu Centre, a place where children, young people and their families can find different sorts of help from professionals who try to understand their worries and do something about the things they find difficult.

The Centre was started on 1st June 2005. It caters to children with developmental, behavioral, emotional and learning difficulties, from birth to 19 years. It also provides counseling and training facilities to their families.

Since we started, there has been a steady increase in the annual registrations. Till date over 3000 children have availed of Sethu's services, an ample proof of its necessity. A multidisciplinary team consisting of pediatrician, psychiatrist, special educators, psychologists, speech therapist and physiotherapist assess and manage the children. .

A range of assessments such as neuro-developmental examination, psycho-educational testing, speech and language assessment and functional assessment for educational programming are offered. Sethu has upgraded its skills in assessment of autism and facilities for doing the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale (ADOS) and the Autism Diagnostic Interview (ADI) are now available.
